Hays Selects BrightWave for E-Learning Induction

Creating a people-centred induction programme to introduce new joiners to the company more effectively.

Hays, a global leader in specialist recruitment and HR services, has chosen to work with BrightWave, the fastest growing e-learning provider in the UK, to create an e-learning course that will be used during the company's blended induction process.

"As part of the emphasis Hays places on training and providing a full induction for all new employees, we decided to create an e-learning programme that can present our core values and high level of customer service in an engaging, consistent and realistic way," said Gayle Robling, Training Projects Director, Hays. "BrightWave demonstrated a people centred approach that impressed us and we are confident that the new course will support our efforts to give newcomers a faster and more effective introduction to the company."

The course features a high impact 'video nation' style approach with short and snappy video sound bites from Hays executives, customers and employees that lends colour and credibility to the Hays story. It will be integrated into the overall induction programme as a solution that the newcomer can dip in and out of as their schedule permits.

"Using e-learning as part of a blended induction experience can help companies improve employee performance and build on their high motivation right from the start," said Charles Gould, Managing Director for BrightWave. "We continue to deliver e-learning that really works for a whole range of companies with various needs and objectives. Induction is only one area where e-learning has proved particularly effective. Other areas include systems training, regulatory compliance and product knowledge."
