Brightwave Delivers Next Generation E-Learning for Swiss Re

Improving the effectiveness of product training and induction

Brightwave, the workplace learning specialist, has been selected as one of the preferred bespoke e-learning suppliers to Swiss Re, the world's leading reinsurer. Together, the companies have recently developed a series of new bespoke e-learning programmes that include modules for product training and induction. The programmes are currently being rolled out to groups of employees throughout the organisation.

"After having deployed e-learning for several years our employees have become sophisticated users which means that we have to continually improve our programmes to make sure they are engaging and effective," said Franziska Stadelmann, Swiss Re Academy. "We chose to work with Brightwave because we were confident that they would be able to help us develop the next generation of e-learning. Their creative and instructional design skills are excellent and we have been very pleased with the way they manage our projects."

The online induction modules form part of a blended solution that helps Swiss Re communicate their key messages consistently to all new joiners and ensures that they are given an exciting and effective introduction to the company.

"The key to successfully developing next generation e-learning is the quality of the content and how it is treated," said Charles Gould, Managing Director for Brightwave. "Engaging sophisticated audiences like Swiss Re, is becoming increasingly difficult and bespoke e-learning specialists have to rise to the challenge. Brightwave's holistic approach focuses on how to motivate the learners and engage them with the content right from the start of the project. This means that our clients can be confident that their e-learning solutions will win over not just the minds of their learners but also their hearts."
